Real Madrid beats Barcelona again, 3 consecutive Clasico wins in 3 different stadiums

April 10th was the night when two Spanish giants, biggest football rivals clashed in the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in Madrid.

Following an absolute classic win against Liverpool in the Champions League, Real Madrid now has 98 wins in El Clasico edging Barcelona's tally of 96 after beating them 2-1 this Sunday, making Zidane the only coach to win 3 consecutive clasicos since 1978 climbing the club at top of the Laliga table.
The win also keeps the record for the coach who hasn't lost a clasico since 2017.

There has been no escaping injuries, especially this season for The Whites. Eden Hazard for whom the season has been ruined by multiple injuries won't be available until he recovers and the coach doesn't want to risk at all. The last time he was included in the squad, it was said he wasn't fully recovered which resulted in another injury for him.
Raphael Varane who tested positive for Coronavirus was ruled out of the Liverpool game as well as for the clasico.
Sergio Ramos who got injured after the Spain World Cup qualifier made it Real Madrid's first-ever clasico without the captain since May 2011.

The rain had covered the stadium and graced the classic match. Madrid fans were in doubt seeing Catalonian's form and their form, neither did they have their key players and the club is also been suffering from several injuries.
But anything can be possible if the coach is "Zinedine Zidane"!

The Great Whites dominated the first half and scored 2 goals, they also missed many ones on one chance later and got tough competition by Barca in the second half resulting in conceding a goal. Both the Spanish giants hit the post twice including one of Barca's at 94' and Valverde's chance to score the third goal for the club but went hitting the post unluckily.

Toni kroos' stunning freekick goal at 28' gave The Vikingos a 2-1 win over Barcelona at Valdebas came after Benzema's unbelievable backheel goal at 13' for the early lead, scoring in his 7th consecutive game.

Mingueza's goal in the 2nd half at 59' took away the clean sheet of Madrid. Messi hit the target with the freekick but was saved brilliantly by Courtois and has now failed to score in his 7 consecutive clasico matches.

Zidane managed to rest 3 key players at this complicated tough time of the game at 74', where now Lucas Vazquez was also injured by Busquets just before halftime, decides to substitute Benzema, Kroos and Vinicius with Mariano, Isco and Marcelo to not risk any chances against the 2nd leg match Vs Liverpool.

Lucas Vazquez suffers an injury to the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee which makes him out for the rest of the season, yet another injury added to the list of Madrid in such a critical time of the season, the player on which fans relied on, one of the consistent player who has been the best in the RB position in absence of Carvajal.

After the match ended 2-1 against the Blaugranians, Koeman and Pique followed the referee Gil Manzano and argued with him in the tunnel that the players had to stop the argument. Luka Modric even trolled Pique after the game saying "You're waiting for the referee to complain right?".

The match ends in favour of Los Blancos but with a lot of doubts about the physical conditions of the players for the next match against The Reds. Carvajal, Varane, Valverde, Hazard, are all in doubt. Zizou has always managed the team well, he has been managing the team with the tactics, gave us unbelievable performances, delivered classic wins against Liverpool and now Barcelona without Ramos, Carvajal, Varane etc and dealt with 50+ injuries when there have been no new signings as well and still crushed Barcelona for the 3rd time in a row in 3 different stadiums, Camp Nou, Santiago Bernabeu and yesterday at the Alfredo Di Stefano. All hail to the magician.
Hala Madrid
